Cold War Living History Weekend (EASTER 2024)
The return of our ever popular living history weekend. The museum is taking a step back in time and going back to what life was like either side of the Berlin Wall during the Cold War. Keep an eye out for patrolling troops around the Nantwich area on Saturday and Sunday morning as the Bunker welcomes re-enactors and their military vehicles in through its gates.
Across the site, there will be military camps set up giving an insight into how lives were lived by both Western and Eastern forces. The event will be patrolled and checkpoints will have to be passed as visitors are invited to venture between the two sides of the Cold War. Discover the length and breadth of the Cold War, featuring some of the most diverse and interesting Cold War displays.
Our Cold War Living History Weekend is open from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Circle of Friends Ghost Hunt
INCLUDING FISH & CHIP SUPPER.
Working alongside the team you will split in to small groups to work through the building in group sessions using both tradition and scientific methods of investigation such as table tipping, ouija boards, evp sessions with the intention of interacting with the spirits that reputedly haunt the building.
Hot drinks, bottled water & biscuits provided.

Small Spies can explore the corridor’s of the secret bunker with our Museum Director Lucy. Find out about our secret history and complete your own special mission. Can your team find all the clues and decode the message before the spies hack in to the bunker communications?
There are limited places and the museum with be closed so your spy group has the whole site to yourselves. Guided tour of the bunker takes approximately 1.5 hours. Your ticket includes an annual pass so you can come back and explore at your leisure, Small Spies’ Training Manual and arrival drinks. Plus if you are successful at your mission you might win a prize!
We advise arriving at least 15 minutes early to get comfortable and enjoy your drink.

We believe it is important to understand our past in order to better understand our present. The conflict in Ukraine is an echo of the Cold War conflicts we consider every day here at Hack Green. As such, we are donating £1 from every ticket sold to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

PREPPERS by Casson & Friends
Verbatim Documentary Dance Theatre performance exploring Emergency Survival & Preparedness in the United Kingdom.

Documentary meets dance in this thought provoking, timely and intimate new duet performance from Record Breaking Dance Theatre Company, Casson & Friends.
PREPPERS is a new piece of Verbatim Documentary Dance Theatre, that asks: are we truly prepared? With real interviews from members of the UK survival and preparedness community, intercut and combined with compelling movement, PREPPERS is a unique performance that investigates how we prepare for, react during, and recover from emergencies - revealing our resilience and humanity in times of crisis, and what we need in order to truly survive.
Tickets £11
Gates open 7pm, drinks available in the canteen before performance. Performance starts at 7:30pm, final admission 7:20pm. Performance lasts 1 hour.
Bunker Film Club: Halloween Horror Special
Are you brave enough to survive the Hack Green Halloween Special? Locked into one of the UK's most haunted places you will experience a night of frightening fun! There will be a horror film screening in the haunted cinema with spooky drinks and snacks, a fancy dress competition for scariest outfit and a candlelit ghost tour of the bunker. Film screening will be THE DESCENT.
Tickets are £23 and include everything. 6:30pm until 10pm, if you ever leave that is. Over 18s.
Screening shown deep in the bunker cinema 40ft underground and are very limited.
